We know that reading terms and conditions isn't anyone's idea of fun (especially with an ADHD brain!). But these terms are here to protect both you and us, ensuring we can deliver the best possible learning experience while being clear about what to expect.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling Your Course
Before Your Course Starts We understand that life happens, especially when managing ADHD! You can:
Reschedule to any future course date up to 48 hours before your original start date
Transfer to a different course format (online to in-person, or vice versa) subject to availability
Move to a course at a different time or day that better suits your schedule
No fees apply for your first reschedule request

 
Multiple Reschedules 
Second and subsequent reschedule requests may incur a £25 administrative fee
We're flexible and understanding - just let us know what's happening
All reschedules must be requested at least 48 hours before the original course date
 
During Your Course 
Individual session rescheduling may be possible depending on course format
Group courses have fixed schedules, but we'll work with you if you miss sessions
Recorded sessions available where applicable to help you catch up

Cancellation Policy

Simply email us - no lengthy forms or complicated processes
Refunds typically processed within 5-7 business days

After Your Course Begins

First 14 days: We understand courses don't suit everyone - contact us to discuss options
After 14 days: Refunds aren't typically available as significant resources have been allocated to your learning
Exception: See our compassionate policy below for special circumstances

Our Compassionate Policy

Exceptional Circumstances We recognise that life's challenges don't follow neat schedules. Full or partial refunds may be considered for:
Documented medical emergencies or serious illness
Significant life events (bereavement, job loss, family crisis)
Mental health episodes that prevent course participation
Other genuine extenuating circumstances

What We Need
A brief explanation of your situation (we keep this confidential)
Supporting documentation where appropriate (medical certificates, etc.)
Contact us as soon as possible when circumstances arise

Your Financial Protetection

Insolvency Protection Your peace of mind matters to us:
All course fees are held in a designated client account separate from our business operations
This ensures your money remains protected and available for refunds throughout your course
In the unlikely event of business difficulties, your funds are safeguarded
This protection applies from the moment you pay until your course is completed

Refund Processing 
Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of approval
Money returned to your original payment method
You'll receive email confirmation when your refund is processed

Your Payment Options

Full Payment 
Payment is due in full before your course begins
We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers

Instalment Plans 
Available for courses over £500
Flexible payment schedules available  
All payments must be completed before course completion

Your Consumer Rights

14-Day Cooling-Off Period
You have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided:
The course hasn't started yet, OR
If the course has begun with your express agreement, you'll receive a refund minus the fair value of any materials accessed or sessions attended

After Your Course Begins 
Refunds are not typically available once you've started your learning journey
However, if we fail to deliver the service as described, we'll work with you to resolve the issue or provide an appropriate refund
We're committed to delivering all services with reasonable care and skill

Access and Materials

Digital materials are available immediately upon course start
Physical materials (if applicable) are posted within 2-3 business days
Late payment may result in temporary suspension of access until account is current

Our Commitment to you

 If you're experiencing financial difficulties:
Contact us immediately to discuss alternative arrangements
We may be able to pause your course temporarily
Payment holidays may be available in exceptional circumstances

Additional Terms

VAT
All prices include VAT where applicable
VAT invoices provided for business customers
Changes to Terms We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any changes to these terms
Changes won't affect courses you've already purchased

Our Course Materials 

What We Own All course content, including but not limited to:
Video lessons and recorded sessions
Written materials, workbooks, and handouts
Assessment tools and frameworks Audio recordings and podcasts
Slide presentations and visual materials
Proprietary coaching methodologies and techniques

This content is our intellectual property and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

What You Can Do 

Personal Use License When you enroll in our courses, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to:
Access and view all course materials for your own learning
Take notes and create personal summaries for your own use
Print materials for your personal study (reasonable quantities)

After Course Completion 
Keep materials for your ongoing personal reference
Continue to apply the techniques and strategies you've learned
Use the knowledge gained to improve your own life and wellbeing and those of your coaching clients

What You Cannot Do 

Sharing & Distribution Please don't:
Share login credentials with others
Copy, distribute, or share course materials with friends, family, or colleagues
Upload our content to file-sharing sites or social media
Create derivative works based on our proprietary methodologies
Record, screenshot, or reproduce our live sessions without permission

Commercial Use You may not:
Use our materials in your own coaching practice without explicit written permission
Sell, license, or profit from our content in any way
Present our work as your own Incorporate our proprietary frameworks into your own courses or programs

Fair Use & Citations 

Academic & Personal Reflection You're welcome to:
Quote brief excerpts in personal blog posts or social media (with proper attribution)
Reference general concepts learned in academic work or personal writing
Discuss strategies with your own coach or therapist
Share your personal insights and experiences from the course

How to Credit Us When referencing our work: "Adapted from materials by The ADHD Coaching Academy" with a link to our website where possible.

Protecting Everyone's Work 

Your Contributions
